Friday afternoon, Northwestern (17-15, 4-14 Big Ten) takes Indiana (20-10, 12-6 Big Ten) in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
After upsetting No. 5 seed Minnesota, the twelfth-seeded Wildcats hope to continue its wild run against the fourth-seeded Hoosiers. On Wednesday, juniors Nia Coffey, Christen Inman and Ashley Deary led the team to an overtime victory over Wisconsin. The next day, Northwestern advanced past Rachel Banham and the Minnesota Golden Gophers with an 84-74 victory. The team flipped the season-long script against Minnesota with terrific rebounding and clutch shots in the fourth quarter.
