Scheduling travel to games, securing necessary practice and game hours at facilities, and generally making sure that the team is running smoothly are some of those duties that are seldom seen by the average fan.
In the Northwestern sports stratosphere, Chris Lauten is one of those people. Lauten is the Director of Operations for the men's basketball team, so those things, as well as directing summer camps and doing various other tasks for head coach Chris Collins, are his expertise.
