Sixteen minutes into the first quarter against North Carolina, it looked like Northwestern could be pull off the impossible. After Scottie Lindsay completed a three-point play, Northwestern had built a six-point lead on the road against the No. 9 team in the country. Of course, UNC closed out the half with a 14-1 run to restore order to the universe, but that game and recent results have shown that Northwestern has made significant strides on offense.
