Just months after former Miami Hurricanes wideout Garrett Kidd decided to walk away from the game, the former walk-on is headed to Northwestern to play, and on a full scholarship to boot!
Kidd made the announcement on his personal Twitter page.
Extremely grateful and blessed to be accepting a scholarship to play at Northwestern University next season! #GoCats pic.twitter.com/nIjxHHoUUW

Kidd spent three years at Miami, catching two passes for 13 yards over that stretch, spending most of his time on special teams.
