Northwestern football’s landmark 2020 recruiting class continues to grow.
Three-star cornerback Garnett Hollis Jr. announced his commitment to Northwestern on Saturday (his birthday!), adding another key element to what’s shaping up to be Pat Fitzgerald’s most highly-touted class and Northwestern’s best of the recruiting rankings era.
Hollis Jr. chose Northwestern over serious interest from Purdue as well as multiple SEC schools. The 6’1”, 185-pound cornerback marks the Wildcats’ third defensive back commitment of the 2020 class, and second in the last ten days after safety Gunner Maldonado announced his commitment to NU just last week.
