Clayton Thorson has exited the Music City Bowl after suffering a right leg injury.

The quarterback was carted off the field after his 23-yard reception from Jeremy Larkin set Northwestern up with first and goal from the five yard line. Thorson was tackled from behind on the play.

The Wildcats finished the drive with a touchdown on the ensuing play, which Thorson watched from the cart near the tunnel of Nissan Stadium. There has been no official confirmation, but Thorson is obviously out for the remainder of the game. Matt Alviti is in at quarterback for Northwestern.
