Related Topics: Northwestern Wildcats

With a lot of public outlets — live sporting events included — slowly returning to normal following roughly 16 months of pandemic-altered ongoings, Northwestern is joining the party with the announcement that there will be no more restrictions on crowd capacity at home athletic events during the 2021-22 season.

The news was announced via press release at 10:03 CT am, in addition to the news that single-game tickets for games at Ryan Field will go on sale on July 20. The press release also stated that while fully vaccinated individuals on campus will no longer be required to wear masks in most indoor settings, the University will still require masks in certain indoor settings that could also include sporting events, depending on University guidelines.
