After three years in Evanston during which he started in all but 13 of the 87 games he played, Miller Kopp is leaving Northwestern by way of transfer to conference foe Indiana.
Kopp announced the news on Twitter and Instagram at 7:55 a.m. CT on Tuesday morning.
It was reported on Monday night that Kopp had narrowed down his landing spots to Indiana, Oregon State and Utah, with the Hoosiers seemingly (and accurately) in the driver’s seat.
Despite Kopp finishing his final season with NU on a cold streak from three, his addition makes sense for an Indiana team that struggled mightily in the shooting department during the 2020-21 season.
