Austin Carr has been named a finalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, an annual trophy that honors the most outstanding former walk-on in college football, per a release from the program.
Carr, also a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award to honor the nation’s most outstanding receiver, has been phenomenal this season for the Wildcats, posting a stat line of 75 catches, 1102 yards and 12 touchdowns. His 12 scores is tied with D’Wayne Bates, and the senior still has at least two games left, and perhaps a third if the Wildcats make it to bowl eligibility.
