Anthony Walker Jr.’s NFL opportunity has finally come around, and if his performance on Saturday was any indication, the former Northwestern star looks ready to take advantage of it.
Walker, the Colts’ fifth-round pick, missed some time early in the season but played sparingly even when healthy, recording just 3 tackles heading into Week 15. When starting inside linebacker Jon Bostic went down with an injury, though, Walker was thrust into action and had 4 tackles. Bostic was placed on IR, giving Walker his first career start in Saturday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
