Probably the best thing that can be said about Northwestern’s special teams in 2020 is that not a lot in particular was said throughout the course of the year. Similar to an offensive line, most of the discourse is usually about their shortcomings if they’re notably hurting the team. Silence around the special teams usually means they’re fine.
