2020 combo guard Ty Berry commits to Northwestern

After Joe Bamisile decommitted in late July, Northwestern men’s basketball was actively searching for a potential replacement in the class of 2020.

Ty Berry, a three-star guard from Wichita, KS, is a player that Chris Collins and co. hope can fill that void. The 6-foot-2 guard, who officially announced his commitment to Northwestern on Wednesday night, had offers from Minnesota, Oklahoma State, and Iowa, along with interest from Kansas.

He is the second member of the 2020 recruiting class, joining recent commit Matt Nicholson. With just two players graduating out of the Wildcat program after the 2019-20 season, Berry looks to be the final piece for next year.
