Matt Fitzpatrick heads into the Masters coming off the best year of golf in his young career. European captain Darren Clarke selected Fitzpatrick to represent Europe in the 2016 Ryder Cup. The former Wildcat also held the lead after 18 holes at the Arnold Palmer Championship at Bay Hill before finishing T13. After winning the Nordea Masters and the DP World Tour Championship, Fitzpatrick has risen to No. 31 in the world.
This will be Fitzpatrick's third Masters; he played as an amateur in 2014 after qualifying for the tournament by winning the 2013 US Amateur, where he missed a 10-foot putt for par that cost him another two days of golf.
