The Northern Iowa wrestling program opened the month of March with a large in-state recruiting victory.
Chet Buss, a junior heavyweight for North Butler-Clarksville, announced his commitment to Northern Iowa on Monday. He is the Panthers' first 2022 commitment, and plans to continue to wrestle heavyweight at the next level.
"I am super excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athlete career at the University of Northern Iowa," Buss wrote in an Instagram post, announcing his decision. "I would like to thank everyone that has supported me through everything.
"Panther Train, full steam ahead.
