The Northern Iowa wrestling program received another in-state commitment for its 2019 class on Thursday.
Kaleb Olejniczak, a senior at Perry High School, announced his commitment to the Panthers on Twitter. He projects at around 141/149 pounds.
“Very proud to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Northern Iowa!” Olejniczak wrote in a tweet on Thursday.
Olejniczak is a three-time state qualifier and a two-time medalist. He placed fourth at 113 pounds in Class 2A as a sophomore and reached the 3A finals at 126 last season. He enters his senior campaign with a career record of 133-19.
