ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The Missouri Valley Conference announced the Pre-Championship Poll for the conference's women's golf teams.
The UNI women's golf team is listed fourth, behind Southern Illinois, Bradley, and Missouri State. The poll was created by league coaches.
The Bears of Missouri State are returning champions and received five first place votes. Bradley finished second in the poll with four first place votes and Southern Illinois rounded out the top three with one first place vote.
This year's championship, which will be played at Sand Creek Country Club, a par-72, 6084-yard course, in Chesterton, Ind.
