CHESTERTON, Indiana – Sydney Eaton finished second the MVC Championship to help the Panthers finish second as a team.
Tied at 220 after 54 holes, Eaton and Missouri States Abby Cavaiani went to the first tee for a sudden death playoff. Both players pared the first hole and moved to the par 4 ninth where Cavaiani outlasted Eaton to take the tournament title.
All five members of the team moved up in the individual standings on Tuesday to move the Panthers from seventh place to second.
