NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Northern Iowa women's cross country program landed at No. 15 in the NCAA Division I Cross Country Midwest Region, it was announced today by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
It is the second time in the past three seasons that the Panther women have been ranked as a team, continuing to post top times and strong team finishes at meets.
The UNI women finished second overall at the Badger Classic this past Friday, its second top-three finish as a team this season. For the second consecutive meet, UNI was led by Ashley Norem, who finished fourth overall.
