University of Northern Iowa senior infielder Caitlin Wnek has been named Academic All-District as announced by CoSIDA on Thursday. In order to be eligible for the award, athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30, be at least a sophomore athletically and academically, and participate in at least 50 percent of the team's games.
In the classroom, Wnek is majoring in Movement and Exercise Science: Sports Psychology with a 3.76 grade point average.
