OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Guard Madison Weekly has been named a candidate for the 2016-17 Senior CLASS Award, it was announced today.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
Weekly is one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award and one of two student-athletes representing the Missouri Valley Conference. The class of 30 will be narrowed to 10 finalists in February, and those 10 names will be placed on the official ballot.
