THE SERIES
The Panthers have controlled the all-time series between the in-state rival since the late 70's. The Panthers and Bulldogs have tied their first ever match in 1975 with set scores of 3-15 and 17-15. The Panthers won in three sent in 1976 before losing three in a row from 1977-1978. The Panthers won four matched from 1978 – 1979 before falling or tying eight matches in the early 80's. Since 1984 the Bulldogs have only won two matches.
