Two of Iowa's Division I volleyball programs added another achievement Sunday.
Iowa State earned its 11th consecutive trip to the NCAA volleyball tournament, and Northern Iowa picked up its 20th overall berth.
Both teams will hit the road to play first-round matches Thursday.
Iowa State (18-10) will play Purdue at 4:30 p.m. in Columbia, Mo. The winner will face No. 15 seed Missouri or Northern Illinois on Friday in a second-round match.
Northern Iowa (24-9) will take on Creighton at 4 p.m. in Lawrence, Kan. The winner of that match will play No. 5 seed Kansas or Samford on Friday.
