CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI swimming and diving opened the 2018 season with a win and Missouri Valley Conference Swimmer of the Week honors.
Senior Crystal Florman earned the MVC honor with three first-place finishes and a pair of relay wins when competing against Nebraska and Nebraska-Omaha this last weekend.
Against Nebraska, Florman led all swimmers in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.66 seconds, and in the 100 free (52.12). Both of those marks lead the MVC this season. In the meet against Omaha, Florman took the top spot in the 100 free (52.
