CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI wrestling opened its dual season with two wins at home in the West Gym, beating University of Nebraska-Kearney, 43-0, and Utah Valley, 24-12.
The Panthers hosted three duals, including match-ups between UNK and UVU. UNI improved to 2-0. Utah Valley split 1-1, and UNK fell to 0-2.
"I saw a lot of good things," said head coach Doug Schwab. "Utah Valley really made our guys earn a lot of things.
