FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State leaned on its nationally ranked wrestlers to get bonus points and the team win over UNI wrestling, 22-15.
UNI fell to 3-10 overall, 2-5 MAC. NDSU improved to 4-5 overall, 1-2 Big 12.
The Panthers pulled some of the usual starters but got wins at 133 pounds, 165 pounds, 197 pounds and heavyweight.
North Dakota State got started with one of their two nationally ranked wrestlers with No. 16 Josh Rodriguez. He earned a tech fall to push the Bison up 5-0 in team scoring.
No. 13 Josh Alber came out attacking.
