NORMAL, Ill. — A quintet of Panthers tee off the 2023-24 UNI women's golf season in style as three Panthers placed within the top-50 following the final round of the 2023 Redbird Invite at the D.A. Weibring Golf Course on Monday afternoon.
In a large field of 16 teams, UNI finished in ninth place with a team score of 907 (+43). Bradley claimed the team title with a 865 (+1), finishing one stroke ahead of host Illinois State with 866 (+2). Grace Aromando of Bradley clinched the individual title carding a 200 (-16).
Senior Anna Jensen led the way for the Panthers with a 13th place individual finish, shooting a 70 (-1) in Sunday's opening round to score 220 (+4) for the tournament.
