ST. CHARLES, Missouri – The UNI women's golf team finished the MVC Championship in second place for the third consecutive year after falling in a team playoff.
The Panthers rallied in the final 18 holes of the championship, tying the 36 hole leader Evansville who they trailed by 10 strokes at the start of the day.
UNI's Emily Snelling finished T2 after shooting a final day 81. Snelling's three day 231 was two strokes shy of the eventual champion, Evansville's Sophia Rehleder (229). Hannah Bermel carded a 79 to finish T4 with a 232 and Sydney Eaton finished T6 with a three day 233.
