CEDAR FALLS -- A pair of double-digit runs helped South Dakota State jump out to a 25-19 halftime lead over Northern Iowa in women's basketball action at the McLeod Center.
The Jackrabbits closed the first quarter on a 12-2 run to take a 14-5 lead at the end of the first quarter. After the Panthers tied the game with a 9-0 surge to start the second period, the Jackrabbits answered with an 11-0 rally of their own.
