CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – It was a defensive battle for most of Friday night between the UNI women's basketball team and the Loyola Ramblers, with the Panthers coming out on top 69-56.
In a game that saw birthdays, multiple double-figure outings, and a move up the Valley list for all-time conference wins, UNI grabbed their fourth straight conference win. The Panther win helped Head Coach Tanya Warren take sole possession of 3rd place for most Missouri Valley Conference wins. Warren's 274th win passed former Illinois State Head Coach Jill Hutchinson for third place among MVC coaches.
