CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The UNI Panthers received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Saturday, November 24.
The Panthers will play Pepperdine in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The first round will be held at the University of Wisconsin on Thursday, November 29.
The Panthers have only played Pepperdine three times, going 1-2 in those contests. The Panthers fell 3-0 in 2000, won a five set match in 2002, and lost in 2005 in four sets.
Pepperdine finished 21-8 overall and 14-4 in the West Coast Conference this season.
