CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI Panthers' 10 match win streak came to end Sunday afternoon, falling to the #18 Golden Eagles of Marquette University with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 16-25. 24-26.
The Panthers took the opening set behind a great performance by junior who recorded eight kills and six digs to give the Panthers the 1-0 lead. The Panthers started the second set with 5-0 run and then stalled, the Panthers struggled to get the offense moving the rest of the set, recording a -.029 attack percentage with 11 total errors.
The Panthers tied the second set at 14-14 but couldn't hold off Marquette and moved to the third set tied 1-1.
