CARBONDALE, Illinois – The Panther volleyball team moved to 8-0 in Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) play, defeating the Salukis of Southern Illinois 25-15, 23-25, 25-10, 25-18. The Panthers are 8-0 for the first time since the 2011 season, when the team went a perfect 18-0 in conference play.
Friday was a special night for who set a new career record for the Panthers, recording her 91st solo block. Thomas surpassed Denise Cuttell's career solo block mark of 90 set from 1987-90.
