CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI volleyball team defeated the Salukis of Southern Illinois in a three-set sweep on Saturday night. The Panthers won with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 26-24.
The Panthers sent off seniors , and in a pre-game ceremony. Thomas and Sorge would play a major role in the home victory.
The Panthers dominated the first set against Southern Illinois, recording a .485 team attack percentage to open the match. While the Panthers would take the next two sets, the team did not play with the same efficiency, committing 15 attack errors.
