CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — With a slate of Panthers set to compete at this year's Drake Relays, UNI track and field begins its second weekend competition on Thursday afternoon at Simpson College's Kip Janvrin Open at Bill Buxton Stadium in Indianola.

Thursday's opening day will include the running of the mile, 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 5,000-meters, with field events, sprints, hurdles and mid-distance events slated for Friday beginning at 10 a.
