DES MOINES, Iowa — UNI track and field secured spots in four finals with extraordinary speed and some of the program's fastest times on Thursday during the 113th running of the Drake Relays at historic Drake Stadium.
Isaiah Trousil clocked the fastest time in the men's 100-meter dash preliminary heats with a mark of 10.30 seconds with Tinashe Chigudu coming in sixth place (10.53). Both Panthers are slated to run in Saturday's final, scheduled for 1:07 p.m. CT.
Fresh off winning the 110-meter hurdles at Simpson's Kip Janvrin Open, Jack Sumners took second place on the Blue Oval in the prelims with a time of 14.
