CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI men's and women's track and field were named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Teams and Alana Nietert and William Blaser were named All-Academic Athletes.
To earn the All-Academic Team recognition, the team must carry a 3.0 team cumulative GPA. The Panthers had a stellar academic spring. The women's team posted a semester team GPA of 3.63 to bring their cumulative GPA to 3.34. The men's team recorded a 3.29 semester GPA to bring the cumulative GPA to 3.09.
For individuals to earn team All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have finished in the top 96 in NCAA Division I for any individual event in the indoor season.
