ORLANDO - UNI tennis split on the first day at USTA National Campus with a 4-3 win over Saint Joseph's University and a 7-0 loss to East Tennessee State.
UNI opened the morning earning the first point, sweeping Saint Joseph's University in the doubles competition. UNI secred three more singles matches for the 4-3 win.
Panthers Emma Carr, Andrijana Brkic and Thaissa Moreira stayed perfect through the first match with Saint Joesph's.
East Tennessee swept UNI in the second match of the day. UNI is now 4-8 overall / 0-1 Missouri Valley Conference.
