OMAHA, Neb. --- UNI tennis opened play at the Omaha Duals on Friday afternoon at the Koch Tennis Center, kicking off a two-day competition with doubles matches against Missouri State and Omaha, and singles against Creighton.
Darta Daleka and Lorena Cardosa, who carried a 5-4 doubles record into this weekend's action, dropped their first two matches of the day, falling 7-6 against Missouri State's Alyson Piskulik and Diana Cabrera, and 6-3 to Omaha's Jessica Aragon and Ines Absison.
The duo of Andrijana Brkic and Issa Sullivan also dropped a pair of doubles matches on Friday, coming up short against Juliette Robinson and Sandra Lukacova of Missouri State, and 6-4 to Zoe Adkins and Keegan VanPelt of Omaha.
