CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- Hosting their first and only outdoor home meet this season, UNI tennis wrapped up the 2022-23 season on Saturday afternoon as the Panthers fell to in-state rival Drake by a final score of 6-1.
Prior to the first match, UNI paid homage to its lone senior Thaissa Moreira, who has been part of the Panther program since 2019.
Playing their first doubles match as partners, Darta Dalecka and Kanyanut Sudaard challenged Ines Stephani and Oriana Parkins-Gowin in a narrow 6-4 loss. Moreira and Issa Sullivan, who led the Panthers this season with 8 wins as a pairing also came up short in a 6-4 loss to Elizabete Klavinska and Jyun-Yi Lee in their final match together.
