HOMEWOOD, Ill. --- UNI tennis dropped a pair of road duals in central and eastern Illinois over the weekend, falling to Northern Illinois on Saturday by a 6-1 score in DeKalb on Saturday, and Chicago State 6-1 on Sunday.
Thaissa Moreira was the lone Panther to pick up victories during the two-dual road trip, grabbing a 6-1, 6-4 singles win over NIU's Reagan Welch on Saturday, before defeating CSU's Sofiya Sedovich in a three-set rally, 2-6, 6-4, 10-3.
Against the Huskies on Saturday, Darta Dalecka fell short to Erika Dimitriev in a 6-2, 6-0 match, while Andrijana Brkic fell to Anastasia Rakita 6-1, 6-2.
