WATERLOO, Iowa --- Coming off a late victory on Friday night, UNI tennis came up just short on Sunday as the Panthers fell to the Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) Cougars by a score of 4-3 in dual meet competition.
Andrjiana Brkic and Kim Zizek rallied to knock off Ameila Gorman and Margaux Guibal Britt in a 6-2 double win, while Thaissa Moreira and Issa Sullivan edged Caitlyn Sporing and Melissa Vizcardo 6-4, helping the Panther secure the team doubles point. Lorena Cardoso and Darta Dalecka would fall short in a 6-4 loss to Jill Lambrechts and Jordan Schifano.
