SPRINGFIELD, Mo --- UNI women's tennis opened the final competition of the fall season on Friday competing at the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Individual Tournament, hosted by Missouri State at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
Darta Dalecka and Lorena Cardoso led off the competition in flight one double, narrowly dropping a hotly contested match, 8-7 to Drake's Ines Stephani and Rebecca Ehn. The flight two pair of Andrijana Brkic and Issa Sullivan would drop their first round match, 8-3, while Thaissa Moreira and Lasya Mylavarapu fell to UIC's Zara Ryan and Cora-Lynn von Dungern, 8-3 in flight three.
