SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - UNI women's tennis won its first conference dual, giving the Panthers momentum heading into the conference championships with a 6-1 win over Missouri State.
The Panthers improve to 5-12 overall and 1-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Missouri State is now 0-17 and 0-4 in MVC competition.
UNI sealed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 and a forfeit at No. 3. Three Panthers had comeback wins in their singles matches to defeat the Bears.
