WATERLOO, Iowa --- UNI tennis welcomed the Flames of UIC to the Black Hawk Tennis Center on Sunday morning, but would fall short of its third home dual win of the season, falling by a score of 6-1 in a fleury of competitive matches.
Andrijana Brkic and Kim Zizek paced the Panthers with their lone doubles win in a 6-2 victory over UIC's Tamara Malazonia/Zara Ryan. Darta Dalecka and Lorena Cardoso dropped their match to Agnes Gustafsson/Natalia Nikolopoulou, 6-4, while Thaissa Moreira and Issa Sullivan fell to Cora-Lynn von Dungern/Paula Rodriguez, 6-2.
