CEDAR FALLS-- The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team will begin their fall season this Friday through Sunday at the Drake Invitational in Des Moines.
Action will take place at the Robert Knapp Tennis Center with play beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Drake University serves as the host for the tournament, which includes Creighton, Iowa State, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, South Dakota, UNI, Upper Iowa and Wichita State.
UNI head coach Chris Sagers enters his third season at the helm of the tennis program and returns seven athletes from last year's squad.
