UNI Takes Down UMKC, 3-1

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The University of Northern Iowa volleyball squad ran its win streak to three in a row with a 3-1 win over the UMKC Kangaroos on Friday night at the Kangaroo Klassic. UNI won by set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 22-25, 25-16.

The Panthers (5-3 overall) were led by career-high efforts from Amie Held (17 kills) and Heather Hook (five service aces). Hook narrowly missed another career-high with 56 assists - one away from her career-best of 57 set twice during the 2016 season.

Senior Lindsey Schulz tallied her 500th career kill in the match and has 501 in her career.
