Yes, there was Wednesday’s comeback. And yes, the Panthers largely dominated Missouri State in the second half. But another sluggish start spearheaded by another lengthy scoring drought proved to be the prevailing takeaway from a tough Missouri Valley Conference opener.
“We’ve got to figure it out,” Panthers coach Ben Jacobson said after UNI’s 68-64 home loss to Missouri State. “We worked to make it a little bit simpler the last couple days and we had two great practices. We just got off to a poor start offensively.
