CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI Athletics continues to build on success in the classroom, as shown with the release of the department's academic reports for the 2022 spring semester.
UNI student-athletes recorded a department wide GPA of 3.33 this past semester, with 13 of UNI's 15 programs posting a team semester GPA of at least 3.00, and seven teams surpassing a 3.41. This marks the fifth consecutive semester with a department-wide GPA of at least 3.30, meeting the benchmarks outlined in Panthers Rising, the athletic department's strategic plan.
"We are very proud of our student-athletes after another successful semester in the classroom this spring," said Stacia Eggers, senior associate athletic director for student services.
