NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The UNI softball team ended a five-game losing skid on Wednesday afternoon with a tight 4-3 win over the Lipscomb Bison.
After another rainout over the weekend to end the Niner Invitational, the Panthers were itching to get back on the field in Tennessee. It was a close game for UNI but the Panthers were able to defend their lead through the final two innings for the 4-3 win. UNI would tie their season-high in hits with seven against Lipscomb.
The Panthers would get on the board early as lead-off batter Mya Dodge hit a double to center-left field to get on base.
