ST. LOUIS – The UNI women's soccer team has been selected fifth in the preseason coaches' poll as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Sophomore Lizzie Mewes was named to the Preseason All-MVC Honorable Mention Team.
The Panthers finished the 2019 season with a 5-11 record and a 1-6 mark in the Missouri Valley Conference. UNI brings back seniors Johnnie Hill and Shelby Unruh and redshirt juniors Paige Sieren and Olivia Stearns, all four have significant playing experience for the Panthers.
The Ramblers of Loyola were selected first with 80 points and 8 first place votes.
